Calming Effects of Massage

I had a client come to my massage therapy practice in York recently and tell me how exciting she found her work. She described it and I listened in fascination. It seemed to be a perfect blend of challenge and enjoyment – the kind of balance which results in a lot of fulfillment and personal growth. However, my client had come to me for a reason – to let go out stress and relax. She felt a massage would be very helpful – and, at the end of the massage, she did say she felt more relaxed. We require many things in life but, frequently, we get so caught up in new and exciting challenges, we forget about the importance of relaxing and switching off. Massage can really help with this.
