Massage discussion over breakfast

I was in a local cafe recently having a cup of tea. I started chatting to the man on the table next to me. He was having a hearty full English breakfast. It turned out he was a plasterer and had recently developed a niggle in his right shoulder (he is right handed). I asked if he had sought treatment. He said he was reluctant to go to the doctor as it would be weeks before he could get and appointment and he was afraid all the doctor would do was give him pills, which he didn’t want. I suggested massage to him (I may have also mentioned that I have a massage therapy practice in York). After I had spent some time describing the benefits of massage, he seemed open to the idea.
